Michael is a professional artist and sculptor who has a range of work which has covered such diverse subjects as professional golf, portraiture, figurative sculpture and, most recently, landscape photography. He currently lives and works near Cardiff, Wales. He was born in Weybridge, England in 1964, and studied Art at Epsom and West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham, Surrey. Michael has range of heritage in his family tree.....His mother's parents came from Gravesend, Kent (his Grandfather worked on the Tug-boats since he was 13!). Michael's Father's Mother came from Clydach near Swansea (Wales) and his Dad's Father was from London and worked for the Army. He is married to Karen and they have lived near Cardiff since 2002.

He has completed the Ivor Allchurch life-size bronze based in Swansea Football Stadium, Wales, the bronze life-size bust of Alec Stock at Yeovil Football Club, and reached the finals for the commission for the Bobby Moore tribute sculpture at the new Wembley stadium in conjunction with Thomas & Peters Co. (Farnborough). He had his first one-man show of paintings in Manchester in 2003 and had a second exhibition in NLIAH Headquarters, Bridgend, Wales in 2006. He has sold artwork throughout 21 countries worldwide and can be commissioned for personal or public sculptures or paintings. He currently divides his time between
sculpture, hill-walking and photography.
